Virginia Supreme Court Senior Justice Honorable Lawrence L. Koontz, Jr. (Ret.), a Neutral with The McCammon Group, was awarded the 2015 Harry L. Carrico Outstanding Career Service Award at the Annual Meeting of the Judicial Conference of Virginia on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.
The Carrico Award is presented annually by the Judicial Council of Virginia to a Virginia judge who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the administration of the courts while exhibiting the traits of integrity, courtesy, impartiality, wisdom, and humility.
Throughout his distinguished and extensive judicial career, Senior Justice Koontz served as a Judge at every level of the Virginia Judicial system, including Juvenile and Domestic Relations, 23rd Circuit, Court of Appeals (Chief Judge), and of course the Supreme Court of Virginia.
