Hon. James L. Ryan (Ret.) Joins The McCammon Group

Upon his retirement on November 15, 2006, the Honorable James L. Ryan, retired Associate Judge of the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Maryland, joined The McCammon Group, a leading mediation, arbitration, facilitation and training firm in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Judge Ryan was an Associate Judge in the District Court and a Master for Domestic Relations before joining the Circuit Court bench. During his nineteen years of distinguished judicial service, he was an adjunct professor of Trial Practice at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. He was also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Maryland State Bar Association. One of his last official duties was presiding over the John Allen Muhammad trial and sentencing.
