David A. Carney, a leader in the bar and business community, has joined The McCammon Group, a leading provider of mediation, arbitration, and related dispute resolution services in the mid-Atlantic.
Mr. Carney’s distinguished legal career has involved a wide range of matters including land use, real estate, condemnation, construction, contracts, and family law. He is a current Partner at Carney, Kelehand, Bresler, Bennett & Scherr, LLP, and prior to that, he was an Assistant State’s Attorney for Howard County.
He is a past President of the Howard County Bar Association, and is a former Member of the Board of Governors of the Maryland State Bar Association. He has served Howard County in numerous capacities as Chairman of the Economic Development Advisory Council, a Member of the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Authority, General Counsel of the Chamber of Commerce, and as a past President of Howard County Youth Programs.
Mr. Carney will continue his law practice with Carney, Kelehan, Bresler, Bennett & Scherr, LLP, but now also lends his experience to The McCammon Group as he serves the mediation, arbitration, and special master needs of lawyers and litigants throughout Maryland and beyond.
