Roy Baroff is a conflict resolution professional with 40 years of experience. He’s an attorney, mediator, ombuds, and educator. Throughout his career he focused on a range of dispute resolution services including legal services, mediation, ombuds, arbitration, and teaching. He initially trained as an ombuds in 2007 and most recently completed 7+ years of service as the faculty and staff ombuds for North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Roy has mediated over 1000 cases including litigated matters along with employment and workers’ compensation claims. He also has strong group facilitation skills. Roy is a licensed attorney in North Carolina, Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner (CO-OP), and NC Dispute Resolution Commission Mediator – Superior Court / Family Financial. Roy was selected as one of North Carolina’s top lawyers in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Super Lawyers for 2023.
